For public transit riders who do not know the path to their destinations, we have developed a smart phone application which navigates them to their destinations without need of the Internet or GPS signal. For visitors, the service can be used to navigate the users to their destinations. For the commuters, it can be used to notify the user when they are about to get to their destination or should get off the train and change lines, so that the users do not need to worry about missing their stops, while engaged in other actives such as reading books or listening to music. The service will be initially available in Toronto, but can be easily extended to the hundreds of cities with thousands of subway stations.
